LOS ANGELES (August 29, 2018) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law Alumnus Adam J. Bass, ’91 (JD), was included in Los Angeles Business Journal’s (LABJ) 2018 LA 500 list. The list profiles distinguished individuals in different industries who impact the community with their business accomplishments, civic leadership and philanthropic involvements. How did LABJ pick their LA 500? From LABJ readers and company researchers who challenged themselves to find Los Angeles County’s rising stars.

Bass is president and chief executive officer of Buchalter, a full-service business law firm. He is an arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Court and also works in the Dispute Resolution Section of the Bar Association. Bass is currently on the boards of the California Chamber of Commerce and the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice. He is a member of the USD School of Law Board of Visitors and the board of trustees of the Buckley School. Bass is active in the California Bar’s Real Property Law Section, the L.A. County Bar Association’s Provisional Remedies Section and the California Receivers Forum.

Bass is a graduate of USD School of Law and also received his undergraduate and graduate degrees at USD.
