Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate Welcomes Mitch Roschelle as a Visiting Research Fellow

The Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego School of Business, welcomes Mitch Roschelle, founding partner of Macro Trends Advisors LLC, who will serve as a visiting research fellow within the USD real estate program.

“It is my honor to affiliate with the top real estate program in the country,” says Roschelle. “I am excited to collaborate with students and faculty alike in the development of cutting-edge applied research projects.” 

In this new partnership, the Burnham-Moores Center and USD School of Business real estate faculty will utilize Mitch’s expertise in real estate, corporate finance and capital markets, in a variety of capacities, including: serving as a guest lecturer in graduate and undergraduate real estate courses; providing updates on emerging trends in real estate and on specific product types to USD real estate students, USD real estate alumni, the Burnham-Moores Center team and its board members; moderating panels at Burnham-Moores Center real estate events; working closely with USD real estate faculty and a select group of Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) students on an applied research project; engaging with prospective MSRE students as part of the onboarding process; among other projects.

“Mitch has engaged with our real estate program for more than a decade as a guest speaker at our conferences and at our board meetings,” says Stath Karras, executive director of the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate. “We are thrilled that our graduate and undergraduate real estate students at the USD School of Business will now have the opportunity to learn from such a well-respected expert in real estate and economics.”
