SAN DIEGO (September 23, 2020) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law Adjunct Law Professor and Low Income Taxpayer Clinic supervising attorney Richard Carpenter, ’84 (JD), was recently named to The Best Lawyers in America© list. About Adjunct Law Professor Richard Carpenter

Adjunct Law Professor Richard Carpenter teaches tax litigation at USD and is the founder and supervising attorney of the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (Federal Tax Clinic) at USD School of Law. He has been a tax controversy attorney in San Diego for the past 35 years. Professor Carpenter is certified as a specialist in taxation law by the State Bar of California and is also a certified public accountant.
