As you start the new academic year, please enourage your students to register for one of the library’s fall workshops:
First Generation Students: Your Library & Academic Success – Thursday, September 12 from 5-6 p.m.
Learn Your Library – Thursday, September 19 from 12:30-1:15 p.m.
APA the Easy Way – Thursday, October 24 from 12:30-1:15 p.m.
News, Spin, and Fake News – Tuesday, October 29 from 12:30-1:15 p.m.
Preventing Plagiarism – Thursday, November 7 from 12:30-1:15 p.m.
Preventing Plagiarism – Tuesday, December 3 from 12:30-1:15 p.m.
While the library undergoes renovation this year, workshops will be held in classrooms and computer labs across campus as noted on the workshop calendar. As always, subject librarians are also available to lead research instruction sessions in your classes. To schedule a session, contact your subject specialist or submit an instruction request through the library’s new online form.
