USD Faculty and Leaders Recognized as Laudato Si' Fellows

Last week, USD recognized 10 members of the faculty, staff and administration who embody the university’s mission to care for our common home.
It was part of the university’s Laudato Si’ Fellows program, now in its third year with 30 fellows recognized.
Fellows were honored for their work on campus and off – ranging from environmental research and classes on sustainability, to those who are pushing bold initiatives that cut down on the school’s carbon footprint.
While the luncheon recognized campus leaders for their work, everyone acknowledged the work still to be done, with an excited eye toward the future.
