The University of San Diego (USD) recently completed another successful Students First! Employee Giving Campaign on May 2. The university's dedicated faculty, staff and administration raised more than $270,000 supporting initiatives campus-wide.

Each year, USD employees rally together to support students by donating to scholarships, programs and other student-focused funds. The month-long campaign boasted an employee participation rate of 63 percent, with 10 divisions and departments at 100 percent, highlighting USD employees’ dedication to putting students first.

The campaign culminated in a university-wide reception on May 6, and a facilities breakfast on May 7 for everyone who gave.

“Employees work tirelessly to enrich the student experience by sharing time, talents and treasures,” said President James T. Harris III, DEd. “Support of the Students First! Employee Giving Campaign is an example of how you’re staying true to that commitment. It’s an example of how you’re leading with love.”
