The University of San Diego's Strategic Plan, Lighting the Way Forward to 2030, is a bold vision for the future, grounded in our Catholic mission and the enduring values instilled by our founders. With unwavering dedication to faith, academic excellence and community service, this plan seeks to elevate USD's identity among the world’s most distinguished Catholic universities.

By honoring our past and embracing innovative approaches to education, research and service, we will cultivate a dynamic and inclusive academic environment that fosters intellectual growth, ethical leadership and global impact.

The website features the foundational structural components of the plan — Cornerstones, Goals and Milestones — and outlines the university's efforts to implement those components over the duration of the plan's lifeycle.
