SDG&E Pipeline Work Near Campus Feb 10-21

The San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E) will conduct natural gas pipeline inspection and maintenance work near the USD campus from February 10-21, primarily at night between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

As part of this work, you may notice an odor of natural gas and hear a loud, steady noise as natural gas is vented from the pipeline. SDG&E does not anticipate any issues to campus.

The work will occur in the following areas, and may have impacts on traffic:

1. Off the roadway near the end of Anna Avenue and Pacific Highway
2. Morena Blvd near Napa Street/Sherman Street
3. Napa Street near Linda Vista Road
4. Friars Road between Gaines Street and Via Las Cumbres
5. Tecolote Gate Station (off the roadway, down in the Tecolote Canyon area, adjacent to Caminito Del Oeste and Cowley Way)
6. Pacific Highway near the Interstate 8 overpass
