It’s been a busy week for USD in the news! Architecture Professor Daniel Lopez-Perez discussed his fire-resistant, sustainable Polyhaus on CBS 8. Professor Nick Boyd appeared on KPBS Midday to talk about mental health in the military and a new grant for USD’s Tele-Mental Health Training Clinic, to name a few. The San Diego Public Library and USD’s Copley Library will host their annual Black History Month Author Talk with Megan Giddings, author of Lakewood, on Tuesday, February 25 at 7 p.m. at Copley Library. The event is free and open to the public. Register using the link below.

Members of San Diego Baseball’s 2024 West Coast Conference Championship team returned to campus to receive their championship rings during the 2025 First Pitch Dinner. The team went 41-15, winning both the WCC Regular Season and Tournament Championships, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the 10th time in program history.
