USD Launches New Library Catalog
The University of San Diego (USD) is pleased to announce its new library catalog, a robust platform that provides faceted access to all USD library holdings.
Users can begin a search for library materials from the search boxes on the home pages of the Copley Library or Legal Research Center websites. They can find articles, books, ebooks, streaming media, course reserves and more through the new interface.
Users can access their library account through the Sign In link at the top right corner of the library catalog to renew any borrowed items. They can also use the catalog to request print books and videos or to access articles and ebooks. Users will be prompted to sign in to request materials.
The new library catalog offers improved results and a different look through a catalog search in the main homepage search box. The print and online resources are now combined in a single search result page to make the research experience more efficient.
For additional information about the library catalog, users can go to the transition guide, which provides answers to frequently asked questions and gives them a chance to offer feedback on their experience with the interface.
The new library catalog offers a much more robust and streamlined search and access experience for research and curricular needs. However, for anyone needing help using the tool, or for guidance on the tool for teaching or research purposes, use the Copley Library Live Chat to contact a librarian for assistance.
