This is your USD News Minute. 

A big congratulations to the students who participated in our second weekend of commencement ceremonies at Torero Stadium. Students from the Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science, the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies, the Knauss School of Business, the Shiley Marcos School of Engineering, and the College of Arts and Sciences. We are proud of you, class of 2022!

The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA) presented the Gold and silver plate Awards this month in Chicago, the foodservice industry's top honor. André Mallié, assistant vice president of USD’s Auxiliary Services, was recognized in the Colleges & Universities category.

The Black Employee Alliance and Mission Integration are inviting the USD community to the first campus celebration of Juneteenth to learn more about the history of Juneteenth. The event will be held at The Ministry Center next Thursday from 12:30 to 2. Lunch will be provided.
