Toreros: Spring 2021 Parking Permit Information Now Available

Diego Torero pointing to USD Parking Services sign-up tent

In an effort to continue to provide the Torero community with access to campus parking spaces during the COVID-19 pandemic, USD Parking services will provide E-permits free of charge for the Spring 2021 semester.

To access E-permits, Toreros will need to review the information provided below:

  • You will not receive a physical permit, because your license plate acts as your permit number. Once you complete the purchase, your e-permit is valid immediately.
  • If you have a Fall semester e-permit that expired December 31, 2020, we will automatically extend it through June 30, 2021. No further action is required.
  • If you did not register your vehicle license plate number and did not obtain a Fall permit, please visit our website to select the Spring semester term.
  • Use your SanDiego sign-in, and be prepared to enter the following information: vehicle plate number, make, model, year and color.
  • Vehicle license plates must be unobstructed, affixed to the bumper, and displayed in view of the driving aisle of a parking space.
  • E-citations (electronic citations) may be issued for violating any of the Parking Rules & Regulations. E-citations will be emailed, rather than placed on the vehicle’s windshield.
  • Reserved E-permit holders: Please continue to park in your assigned space or assigned parking parking lot.
  • First-year resident students are not allowed to park on campus. First-year students who can provide adequate evidence that not having a car on campus will result in a hardship can request a waiver by submitting a First-Year Exception Request Form. If you have already completed this form, you do not need to fill it out again for Spring. You may obtain your no cost e-permit after your housing information is confirmed.
  • The Parking Services Rules & Regulations continue to be in effect, including over holidays and breaks.

For a step-by-step tutorial on how to purchase your e-permit through the online portal, please see how-to document.
