SAN DIEGO (February 26, 2020) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law Professor Mila Sohoni provided testimony for the Senate Judiciary Committee on February 25, 2020.

Sohoni gave testimony on the issue of “Rule by District Judge: The Challenges of Universal Injunctions.” While being questioned by the committee members, she argued that universal injunctions are both constitutional and legitimate.

About Professor Mila Sohoni 

Professor Mila Sohoni teaches and writes in the areas of civil procedure, administrative law, federal courts, legislation and health law. Previously, she worked as a correspondent for The Economist. She later served as a law clerk in the office of the Honorable Judith W. Rogers of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and practiced law with Jenner & Block LLP. Sohoni is also on the Executive Committee of the AALS Section on Administrative Law.
