From the Top: USD Board of Trustees Vice Chair, Luis Maizel

Luis Maizel, vice chair of the USD Board of Trustees, was born in Mexico City but has called San Diego his home for 34 years. A successful businessman with an engineering degree from National University of Mexico (UNAM) and an MBA from Harvard Business School, his focus as a USD trustee has been to see that programs are in place so students have career development opportunities and can excel in career placement.
