Dr. Ken Keith Will Discuss Forthcoming Book in Webinar

Dr. Ken Keith

Kenneth Keith, PhD, a professor emeritus of the Department of Psychological Sciences and a former chair, has a forthcoming book with his daughter, Dr. Heather Keith: Lives and Legacies of People with Intellectual Disability. American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities AAIDDD is hosting a free webinar where Dr. Ken Keith and Dr. Heather Keith will discuss their book. The webinar will be interactive, as you can ask questions and add comments. 

“The book is an attempt to recognize that people with intellectual disability are important members of their families and communities, and that we should more fully recognize their legacies.” - Dr. Ken Keith 

The father and daughter duo previously published Intellectual Disability: Ethics, Dehumanization, and a New Moral Community which examines the roots of disability ethics from a psychological, philosophical, and educational perspective. 

Lives and Legacies of People with Intellectual Disability will be available in late 2019.
