Become a Rainbow Educator

Apply today to join Rainbow Educators, a program that exists to build awareness, educate, and engage the USD community around identities such as sexual orientation, gender, race, ethnicity, and class, while promoting the inclusion and visibility of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) communities. The Rainbow Educators team is made up of USD students, staff, alumni, and faculty who facilitate presentation and workshops at USD on diversity issues to classes, student leader trainings, student organizations, and entire departments. Rainbow Educators are committed to holding themselves and others accountable for working against all forms of oppression.

RE Team Commitment:

• Annual team training
• Monthly meetings throughout fall and spring semesters
• Minimum 3 presentations per semester
