Palisade at Westfield UTC Tour

On Feb. 1, undergraduate student members of the University of San Diego (USD) Real Estate Society, Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) graduate students, and USD alumni toured the Palisade at Westfield UTC, a 23-story luxury residential building under construction in UTC. This project is part of a full-scale revitalization of Westfield's existing UTC retail property.

The 300-unit tower rises from a four-story podium, featuring a 26,000 square-foot amenity deck and resort-style pool area which boasts cabanas and lush landscaping. The cast-in-place concrete structure features a rooftop Skydeck, generous amenities, five levels of secured parking and a highly transparent exterior skin, consisting of floor-to-ceiling glazing to maximize views to the ocean.

Steven Tetens, AIA, NCARP, PMP, project executive of Suffolk (who is the general contractor on this project), shared a presentation with the group about the organization and gave the group the tour of the project. Once completed, the tower will be managed by Greystar.
