USD to Host Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, the Doctor who Helped Expose the Flint Water Crisis

The University of San Diego in collaboration with Warwick’s Books will host an exciting literary experience featuring physician, scientist and activists Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, a crusading pediatrician who brought the fight for justice in Flint to the national spotlight.

Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha comes to USD to shares her book What the Eyes Don’t See: A Story of Crisis, Resistance, and Hope in an American City.  The book is a powerful first-hand account of the Flint water crisis, the signature environmental disaster of our time and a riveting narrative of personal advocacy.

Dr. Mona has been called to testify twice before the United States Congress, named to Time 100 and awarded the Freedom of Expression Courage Award from PEN America. 

Tickets to the event are free but registration is required
