The American Sociological Association awarded Greg Prieto, PhD, with the 2019 Latina/o Section Distinguished Contribution to Research Book Award for his book, Under Threat: Risk & Resistance in Deportation Nation (New York University Press, 2018).   The Latina/o Sociology Section of the American Sociological Association recognizes with this award a current or former member of the Section who over the years has made outstanding contributions to the Section.   Congratulations, Dr. Prieto!
