Each year, ARGUS offers a university challenge with dozens of universities from all over the world participating. Teams of aspiring real estate professionals, sponsored by a participating professor, are given a fictitious real estate opportunity and need to prepare a report with analysis and their recommendations. Cash prizes are given to the top four teams, with the first-place team receiving approximately $15,000.

The 2020 University of San Diego School of Business Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) team is comprised of: Alexander Allione ’21 MSRE, Humberto Arechiga ’20 MSRE, Peter Menne ’20 MSRE, Roman Scholten’ 20 MSRE and Stella Zimmermann ’20 MSRE. Charles Tu, the Daniel F. Mulvihill Professor of Commercial Real Estate and academic director of the Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) program, will be the team’s sponsor.

A panel of judges from the real estate industry review the case study submissions and winners are announced on April 13, 2020. View details of the 2020 ARGUS University Challenge.
