USD International Business Program Ranked in Top 25

The undergraduate international business program at the University of San Diego School of Business is one of the best in the country, according to the latest rankings from U.S. News & World Report.

USD’s international business program was ranked 25th in the nation, based on peer assessment by deans and faculty in Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited universities.

“We’re very pleased that our peers are recognizing the strides our faculty and staff have made to develop a highly experiential and globally diverse curriculum,” said Associate Provost for International Affairs and Ahlers Center for International Business Director Denise Dimon. “Through countless study abroad opportunities, mentoring program with international business leaders, and real-world consulting opportunities, the international business major at USD prepares students for the challenges of the international economy and marketplace.”

The international business major is also ranked #6 in the nation and #2 in California by College Factual and USD is currently ranked #1 in the nation for study abroad participation by the Institute of International Education (IIE) Open Doors Report. 

Under the international business major, students can live and study in more than 30 countries while taking advantage of internships, international consulting projects and student teaching opportunities.

The international business major requires competency in a second language as well as required courses in analytics, economics, marketing and finance, followed by cutting-edge electives such as International Management Consulting, Global Social Entrepreneurship and International Financial Management. Students also have the opportunity to graduate with a double degree: one from USD and another from one of our partners in Spain, Italy, Portugal, France or Ireland.
