The University of San Diego School of Business is excited to share that two of our own business students, Becca Lancaster ‘19 and Evie Blackburn ‘19, were featured by Poets & Quants among the 100 'Best and Brightest' students in the U.S.. Poets&Quants invited the top 50 undergraduate business schools in the nation to nominate two students who embody the spirit of their school, are role models and set the standard for classes to follow. Lancaster and Blackburn stand out for their high academic achievements, commitment to using business as a force for good, strong ethical values, outstanding extracurricular leadership on campus, and more.

"I was not expecting to have as much fun as I did. I thought classes were going to be stiff and serious, but instead, I was met with professors and peers who pushed me to think outside the box and explore creative alternatives. Except for accounting class. You should not make creative solutions in accounting because you will go to jail." - Becca Lancaster '19

Meet Becca and find out more about the lessons -- both academic and personal -- that stuck with her at the USD School of Business.

"I grew up surrounded by entrepreneurs in my family. From an early age, my parents taught me how to save, budget my allowance, and have basic financial literacy. I have always been very detail-oriented and I love working with numbers, so after my first accounting class, I was hooked." - Evie Blackburn '19

Meet Evie and find out more about her contributions to the class of 2019 at the USD School of Business.
