Real Estate Society Committee

The University of San Diego (USD) School of Business, in conjunction with the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate (BMC) supports the undergraduate, student-run Real Estate Society (RES) organization. RES is pleased to introduce its 2018-19 student committee members, including: Claire Hunn ‘19; Megan Bartyczak '19; Marianne Shamoon '19; and Seyed “Ali”  Valiahdi '19. The committee members are excited to grow student participation in the RES this year and have planned a variety of student activities, events and field trips to local development projects, including the Westfield UTC mall and residential tower.

The RES offers students vast opportunities to connect and network with real estate industry professionals through Real Estate Society meetings, case studies, site visits and conferences throughout San Diego. Students benefit from one-on-one mentoring opportunities, personalized career coaching and general support offered through the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate team, who help students bridge the gap between academia and industry. It's all part of the center’s mission to support real estate students as they build their future in real estate.

John Demas, clinical professor of real estate and faculty advisor to the RES, and  Jackie Greulich, associate director, real estate student and career services, serve as liaisons to RES members. They are excited to to welcome the new RES committee and all RES members at their first meeting on Sept. 25.
