Steps that are bolded in the timeline above MUST be completed for you to receive outreach from your advising office. Once you've completed the bolded steps and advising within your school or college has begun, you will receive an email from your school or college with an invitation for academic advising. You are strongly encouraged to complete the steps that are not bolded prior to your advising meeting.
Please note, you do not need to submit your required immunization forms to be eligible for academic advising and class registration for your first semester. You are, however, required to submit these forms prior to the start of classes. You should begin this process sooner, rather than later, as the Student Health Center may require additional documentation before you are cleared.
This timeline will help you keep track as you prepare to meet with your advisor, but it does not have all the details you'll need. For more information on some of the steps outlined above, including additional links, check out our Getting Started page.
