Twilight Retreat

The Twilight Retreat is a special opportunity for USD faculty and staff to share an evening of reflection, silent prayer and group sharing.

Theme: "Our Spiritual Roads to Damascus: Journeys of Doubts, Certainties and Surprises"

Presenter: Florence Gillman, PhD, Theology and Religious Studies Department

The road to Damascus is a powerful, spiritual theme (based upon the life of St. Paul) which opens up avenues of discussion today. In the face of the frustrations many express about God who seems silent and non-directive in our lives, examining Paul's profound experience offers inspiring guidelines. Our discussion will include slides of archaeological material about Paul's road as well as art historical interpretations about happened to him.

When: Thursday, November 7, 2019

Location: Warren Hall Reading Room #201

Time: 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.  Light supper will be provided

Free cost and open to all USD faculty and staff.

RSVP by Monday, November 4 to Office for Mission, or (619) 260-4656
