Summer Research Proposal Process

In order to submit a proposal for the McNair Summer Research Program, you must first complete the application process to establish eligibility. After establishing eligibility for the program, you are encouraged to identify a USD faculty member to serve as your mentor throughout the research project, as well as the graduate application process. Together, you and your mentor will produce a summer research proposal. Although proposals will vary by discipline, the proposal must fully address all of the prompts listed.

If you have any questions regarding the application process, please do not hesitate to contact us via email, mcnairscholars@sandiego.edu, or via telephone at 619 260-7523.
