Graduate Students

Mulvaney Center Graduate Assistants

The Mulvaney Center seeks part-time graduate federal work study students to assist with the advising and leadership development of community engaged scholars through immersive learning and pedagogy.  We have a variety of roles for graduate students such as supporting undergraduate DACA students, a GA for a Leadership course and working with faculty in course based work. All graduate students have the opportunity to support program management, including: advising student leaders, assisting with orientation and training, facilitating communication among all community partners, and coordinating program evaluation.

Counseling Program for Graduate Students

In partnership with USD's School of Counseling and Montgomery Middle School we have created a counseling program for graduate federal work-study students. The program provides graduate counseling students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in their field.  Our counseling students help create and enhance socio-emotional safety net systems, conduct peer mediation, and work with a school counselor to create a wellness-focused environment for youth in our community.

Federal Work Study eligibility is required, if unsure of federal work study status contact Financial Aid for information, If you are interested in our roles or have questions, please contact us:
