Writs Tabling Policy

Registered student organizations may use any of the two designated tables in The Writs to table for their organization. Tabling can be used to sell items (e.g. tickets, t‐shirts) or to advertise the organization. Student organizations must reserve a table in advance. Table reservations may be made by signing up on the Table Calendar located on the bulletin board in the hallway of the Legal Writing & Research office suite (just outside of Warren Hall room 124). Each student organization may only table up to 4 hours per day.

The two designated tables are located along the north wall of The Writs (along the outside wall of Warren Hall room 114D). The designated tables should never be moved by any student. Tables are available for registered student organizations to use on Monday through Friday of each week. In accordance with the Policies for Commercial Vendor and Bar Review Course Companies, all outside vendors must receive approval from the Office for Law Student Affairs prior to tabling.

If a table has not been reserved in advance, any USD law student may sit at the table. However, that student can be asked to leave the table in the event that a student organization has signed up to use it.
