Date and Time:

Friday, May 3, 2013 – Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Warren Hall, Faculty Reading Room

Is international law “law”? Why? How is it normative? Does it supplant moral obligations? For states? For their citizens? And what are international human rights? What is their moral status? Their legal status? Do they have determinate content? What does or should follow from their violation?

Papers written on the above topic will be reviewed and discussed.

Visit the institute website for a list of conference participants.
