Make an Interlibrary Loan Request

  • Log into LRC ILL - Non-law users click here
    • Questions? Contact a Reference Librarian via emailchat or phone (619) 260-4612.
  • For first time ILL requests:
    • Login with your MySanDiego username and password. You will fill out a simple online registration form.
    • You must provide an email address and phone number where you can be reached to notify you promptly when your request arrives, as well as to remind you when items need to be returned or renewed.
    • After you have logged in, use the links on the left under New Request to request either a "Book" or an "Article, Case, Statute, etc." Provide as much information as possible in the form and press the Submit Information button to send.

  • USD Book and Document Requests
    • LRC and Copley books during COVID-19 The LRC is providing access to books via curbside pickup. From the library catalog, click “REQUEST IT.”
    • LRC and Copley periodicals during COVID-19 The LRC is providing scans of journal articles and looseleaf materials. From the library catalog, click “REQUEST AN ARTICLE HERE.”
  • Circuit materials during COVID-19 While the San Diego Circuit is closed, log into LRC ILL to request these materials
  • Interlibrary Loan (ILL) during COVID-19 Many institutions' Interlibrary Loan Departments are closed. ILL requests placed during this crisis will take additional time to receive.
