Professor Lane teaches trial advocacy skills and experiential advocacy practicum.

Professional Experience

Lane served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lewis T. Babcock of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. She practices products liability law at The Law Office of Linda L. Lane in San Diego. She was previously a partner with Morrison & Foerster LLP, where she also served as litigation associate training partner for the San Diego office, and an associate with Gray Cary Ware & Friendrich in San Diego. She is a certified faculty member for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and a volunteer attorney for the California Innocence Project and the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program.

Honors and Affiliations

Lane received the Wiley W. Manual Award for Pro Bono Legal Services from the State Bar of California in 2009. She is a board member of Legal Aid Society of San Diego and a member of Lawyers Club, the International Association of Defense Counsel, and the International Association of Women Aviators. She is a former barrister member of the Louis M. Welsh Chapter of American Inns of Court.
