Professor Jonquil Whitehead teaches medical malpractice and EAP civil litigation courses.
Professional Experience
Whitehead is a partner at the law firm Hall, Prangle & Schoonveld. Whitehead has devoted her career to fighting on behalf of medical corporations and healthcare providers. Her experience spans all aspects of litigation and trial, as well as the appellate process. She has argued before both Nevada and California appellate and supreme courts. Whitehead has extensive experience in high-exposure matters, including birth injury, neurologic injury, decubitus ulcers and wrongful death. Her practice has since expanded to professional liability of dentists, physicians, accountants and corporate liability. In addition to civil litigation, Whitehead has appeared before the Nevada and California Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing and the Nevada Board of Dental Examiners and Board of Accountancy.
