Professor Levin teaches in the Women’s Legal Clinic.

Professional Experience

Professor Levin has been in solo practice, focusing on family law, litigation, dispute resolution and representing minor children since 2015. Prior to that, she was with prominent family law firms in San Diego, limiting her practice to all aspects of family law matters. She is a Certified Specialist, Family Law, State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.

She was the Residential Services Director for Center for Community Solutions in San Diego and was responsible for running two shelters and two transitional housing programs, supervising staff, and community outreach.

Honors and Affiliations

In 2014, Professor Levin was awarded the San Diego Daily Transcript Top Attorney, Family Law, and in 2013 she was the recipient of the Michael C. Shea Chair Award for ethics and mentoring from the San Diego Family Law Bar Association. She frequently speaks on domestic violence issues, family law and legal ethics and has served as a Judge Pro Tem, Superior Court of California, San Diego County. Professor Levin is a founding member of the San Diego Family Law Bar Association and was on the board of directors. She has also served as chair and co-chair for the Family Law Section of the San Diego County Bar Association.
