Professional Experience
Professor Dallo is the principal attorney and chief executive officer of Dallo Law Group, a tax law firm he founded in 2012 to assist taxpayers in legal disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and various California taxing agencies. He began teaching at the University of San Diego School of Business in 2017 and expanded his instruction to the School of Law in 2021. While in law school, Professor Dallo clerked at the Department of Justice in the Civil Trial Tax Division and served as a summer legal intern for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Paris, France, location. A licensed CPA, Professor Dallo has also worked as an accountant for Sempra Energy, where he worked on complex federal and international tax issues.
Honors and Affiliations
In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Professor Dallo is also a Certified Specialist in Taxation and a licensed attorney through The State Bar of California. He was awarded AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2018. He has been honored as the Most Admired CEO and as Best of the Bar by the San Diego Business Journal for multiple years, and his business was named San Diego’s Best Tax Law Firm by The San Diego Union-Tribune in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
