Professor Jimenez teaches Trademark Litigation.

Professional Experience

Professor Jimenez is a partner at US IP Attorneys, PC, where she focuses on copyright law, trademark prosecution and litigation, right of publicity law and business transactions. She has worked on several notable cases in the intellectual property law field and currently manages a portfolio of more than 750 trademarks. Before joining US IP Attorneys, PC, Professor Jimenez served in many roles at TechLaw LLP over a number of years, starting as a law clerk while she was a student at USD and ending as a partner when she left the firm in January 2019. Her experience also includes working as a law clerk for A.V.E.L.A., Inc. and as a legal intern for Jack in the Box, Inc.

Honors and Affiliations

Professor Jimenez is licensed by the California Bar and the United States District Court for the Central, Southern, and Northern Districts of California. As a student, she was a member of Phi Delta Phi and the International Law Journal, earned honors in legal research and writing, received CALI Awards in Art Law and Copyright Law, and won Best Oral Argument at the USD School of Law 2010 Lawyering Skills Competition. Her volunteer work includes the San Diego River Cleanup and the San Diego stART Space Gallery, the latter of which includes teaching "Intro to Copyright Law" to local artists.
