2021 Spring Recruiting Program


Our 2021 Spring Recruiting Program is comprised of three different programs to connect you with qualified JD and LLM candidates.

    • This year our interviews will be virtual interviews.  This program enables you to interview several quality candidates in a short period of time on the date of your choice. We collect and send student applications directly to your firm. You select the students you would like to interview and we coordinate virtual interview schedules.

    • This year our virtual interviews run from January 25 – February 5, 2021 for NALP Law Firms and February 8 – 22, 2021 for Smaller Law Firms, Corporations, Public Interest and Government Agencies.

    • If your busy schedule does not permit you to participate on the days we have set aside for interviewing, our resume collect service provides a convenient way to receive all interested candidate applications at one time, allowing you to select and interview candidates when your schedule allows.

    • If you prefer to evaluate candidates on a rolling basis, post your position on our job board and students will send their application materials directly to your organization via email or postal mail.

All three options allow you to pre-screen 100 percent of your interview candidates. You can select your preferred participation method when registering online.

Registration Instructions:

Please follow these instructions to register for the Spring 2021 Recruiting Program, Resume Collect, and Direct Application positions:


  1. Log into #HireUSDLaw*
  2. Click "Register for OCI"
  3. Next to "OCI Round," select 2021 Spring Recruiting, Round 1 or Round 2.
  4. Complete the registration form, providing a minimum of three acceptable virtual interview dates.  We will make every effort to accommodate your first choice, but availability is limited. Click “Register.”
  5. You will then be prompted to post a Job Listing. Please complete the job listing form and click “Submit for Approval.” Your opportunity will not be visible to students until you complete this step.

Resume Collect:  

  1. Log into #HireUSDLaw*
  2. Click on OCI and Job Listings, click on “Post a Job”, and fill in your job information.
  3. Select "2021 Spring Resume Collect" option and be sure to select “Apply via this Site” option.
  4. When completed, hit the “Submit for Approval” button. Your opportunity will not be visible to students until you complete this step.

Direct Applications:

  1. Log into #HireUSDLaw*
  2. Select “Post a Job,” fill in your job information, and click the “Submit” button.
  3. You will receive a “Job Posting Confirmed” email. 
  4. Once it is approved by our office, you will receive a “Job Posting Request Approved” email. Your opportunity will not be visible to students until you complete this step.
