Types of Recruiting Programs

Our recruiting programs offer an easy, effective and productive way to hire USD law students for a semester or for summer associate and law clerk positions, academic credit externships, or post-graduate and post-bar employment.

Fall Interview Program

Due to the impacts of COVID-19, on-campus recruiting for NALP and other law firms seeking to interview 2L/3P students for summer 2021 (Class of 2022) and 3L/4P students (Class of 2021) for full-time positions after graduation, has been rescheduled to January 2021.  Specific dates will be determined.

Recruiting opportunities for fall 2020 or spring 2021 law clerks and externs will be available this fall. Further information will be sent to employers in the near future. In the meantime, please contact our office if we can assist you now with resume collection, virtual interviewing and other remote recruiting methods.

Spring Interview Program

USD Law’s annual Spring Recruiting Program, which occurs in January and February each year, will proceed and details will be sent to employers this fall.  If you have questions about our spring recruiting program, please contact Roseanne Preciado, Assistant Director for Operations and Special Projects.
