Application and Payment Deadlines

Application Fee
All applicants must submit an application fee of US $250.00 for each program (which is refundable through February 11, 2026). Credit card payments are preferred and submitted through the Via portal. Checks made payable to University of San Diego School of Law drawn on a U.S. bank or an international money order are accepted as well. International applicants can receive separate instructions to wire the application fee.
Application Instructions
Students must first submit their names on the Student Interest List by January 31, 2026. Students on the Interest List will be invited to formally apply during the period February 4-February 11, 2026. USD School of Law utilizes the Via online application system for Summer Study Abroad programs. All applicants must apply using the online system. Paper applications are not available.
Click on your preferred study abroad program(s) then follow the instructions below.
USD Applicants
Select the first button, "I have a MySanDiego username and password" then click the "submit" button.
Log in using your MySanDiego username and password.
On the next screen, select the appropriate summer term, then click the "apply" button.
You will be directed to your Program Application Page. The Program Application Page consists of two main components:
- Signature Documents
- You must thoroughly review and then electronically sign these documents. Please be aware that your electronic signature confirms that you have read, understand and agree to the content in each document.
- Your application will not be complete until we receive your application fee.
- Application Questionnaires
- These forms require you to input or upload requested information.
Once you have completed all Signature Documents and Application Questionnaires, please note there is no final submit button. When all of the boxes under the "Received" column on your Program Application Page have check marks, your application is complete. You will receive an email from Graduate and International Programs confirming receipt of your complete application. Your application must be complete by the application deadline.
