Student Survey Distribution
Student Steps in Qualtrics:
- Open a second browser tab to review instructions below and to work in Qualtrics in seperate tabs.
- Click here to login to your USD Qualtrics account.
- From the My Surveys page, click Copy for the survey you would like to distribute.
- Edit the name for the survey (consider including the student's name for easier tracking).
- For Copy To, choose Another User Account.
- For Username, type the Qualtrics username (email address, with #USD added at the end) of the sponsoring faculty or staff member.
- Click Copy.
- The faculty/staff member becomes the owner of the survey and can activate and distribute it.
Faculty/Staff Steps in Qualtrics:
- Open a second browser tab to review instructions below and to work in Qualtrics in seperate tabs.
- Click here to login to your USD Qualtrics account.
- From the My Surveys page, click Collaborate for the survey you would like to distribute.
- Type the student's Qualtrics username (email address with #USD added at the end) and click Add.
Important: If #USD is not added to the end of your email address, you will not access your USD Qualtrics account.
- Click the checkbox under Edit, Copy, and/or View Results if you would like them to have these abilities.
- Do not check the checkboxes for Activate/Deactivate or Distribute.
- Click Save.
- The student can now see the survey under the student’s “My Surveys” page.
