How to Draw and Write on PDF Documents
Drawing on PDFs depends on your device. Some have built in tools, like the MS Surface Pro, while other can use Adobe Acrobat DC.
Since some devices can only run light apps (ARM based devices) and Adobe Acobat DC is a full desktop application, it only runs on desktop operating systems (with Intel or AMD processors). If you don’t know what you have contact the HelpDesk at 7900 or help@sandiego.edu.
For most devices, such as desktops (non-ARM devices), Adobe Acrobat DC is the best solution:
- Comments and Annotation tools for PDF within Adobe Acrobat (from Adobe)
- Use annotation and drawing markup tools to add comments in PDFs
On a Surface Pro and similar devices
