Information Technology Services acquires, circulates, installs, manages and maintains the display, recording, and playback equipment used in classrooms across campus. The team supports the use of audio visual equipment including data projectors, document cameras, audio systems and other technology.  Our services are provided to USD faculty, staff, and students for academic use.

Our Classrooms

ITS offers four levels of technology depending on classroom location, size, and application. As part of a six-year upgrade plan in 2017 ITS standardized a new podium. A digital laser projector and 16x9 screen are now standardized with new classrooms. 

The Podium is equipped with:

  • A touchscreen 16x9 monitor
  • Touch panel with a contemporary interface
  • Windows 10 PC
  • Epson Document Camera and
  • Digital Audio/Video processing
