AMOS
IBM SPSS Amos is powerful structural equation modeling software that enables you to support your research and theories by extending standard multivariate analysis methods, including regression, factor analysis, correlation, and analysis of variance.

Cayuse Grant Management System
Cayuse is a service that manages grant proposals, paid for by USD and the Office of Sponsored Programs.
Check-In Kiosk
Provides a simple way for your students or audience to check in -- and check out -- with their student ID, email, or whatever criteria you select on their mobile device. The system tracks when and where they checked in and out.

Computer Labs
We have several general computing labs across campus; Serra Hall 205, Olin Hall 122 and Maher 176 (Graphics/Video Editing lab), with walk-in hours for current students, faculty and staff. Our Serra 205 and Olin 122 general computing labs have BW and color printing available through our WEPA printing system which also allows for mobile wireless printing. Both computing labs have several equipment available for check out such as laptops, headphones, cell phone chargers and more. In addition to our general computing labs, we also have several reservable instructional computing labs available for faculty and staff. These labs can be reserved by submitting a request through our reservation form. Faculty and staff may request to have specialized software installed in any of our general or instructional labs for their course by submitting a form through our software request form under the Faculty Resources page.
Computer Replacement Program (CRP)
The Computer Replacement Program is designed to ensure that faculty and staff have access to laptop or desktop workstations that support current applications in their work and study. ITS supports replacement of one system per employee on a five-year cycle.
Please submit this form to request a new or replacement CRP computer.
Damaged Equipment
If a USD-owned computer has been damaged, please submit this form for an assessment for repair.
Desktop Configuration Management (DCM)
Desktop Configuration Management (DCM) is a service offering from IT Services for use by technical support staff. It is intended to provide a USD standardized image, standardized configuation settings, and consistent software offerings on desktop and laptop computers. This service is required on all USD-owned devices, and is available for both Windows and Macintosh computers.
Digital Signage
For departments interested in using Digital Signage, ITS has partnered with FourWinds Interactive to provide digital signage management to approved users across campus.

Distribution Lists
A distribution list is a public email address that automatically sends received messages to a collection of contacts. It allows you to create an address — say marketing@sandiego.edu — that you can list on the USD website that does not change as employees enter or leave the university. A message sent to this distribution list goes to all recipients listed in the distribution list.
At USD we do not have the ability to provide groups or organizations with their own email account and inbox, so distribution lists are utilized to provide e-mail distribution to a specific set of employees or student workers to satisfy an official University business purpose. Use of DL's also provides business continuity for the business purpose in the event of staffing changes. Only valid USD E-mail addresses can be supported.
Dropbox for Business

Microsoft Remote Desktop
Microsoft Remote Desktop is an application used to connect from any Windows or Mac computer to on-campus Windows 10 computers.

Mobile Devices (loaned for USD Business international travel)
The University has a limited number of cell phones that are loaned to staff and faculty for International travel. The phones offer international services from Verizon Wireless or AT&T Mobility for business purposes.
MySanDiego Portal
Students can access their academic records, and perform registration and graduation functions. Faculty are able to review class rosters, grade students and approve registration error overrides. Advisors are able to see their advisees, remove registration holds, view academic data required that are for advising purposes. Staff and Faculty can link to their records and other Human Resources functions.
MyUSD
Application suite can be used to view a GPS-enabled interactive map of the college's campus, including where particular classes are located, call or e-mail faculty and staff members using the directory feature of the application, get information on scheduled courses, and browse through the university's library catalogs. In addition, you can view images of our beautiful campus, university content on YouTube or iTunesU, and get up-to-the-minute college sports scores.
Non-CRP Computers

Pharos Print Tracking
ITS uses a service called Pharos to manage and track printing in certain areas of campus, allowing departments to bill users for prints. A user will print to a specific printer, then visit an omega terminal. Once they swipe their USD ID card or campus cash card, the print job is released and the fee is charged to their campus cash account.

Qualtrics (Survey Tool)
Qualtrics is a powerful survey-building tool that is highly customizable and easy to use. With Qualtrics, you can design and distribute surveys, manage the responses, track the participants, and analyze the data, all in an easy-to-navigate web-based interface. Stolen Equipment
Complete this form if your USD Device has been stolen or has gone missing. Please ensure that ITS has all of the pertinent information so that we may be able to assist the authorities in the potential recovery of your USD device, and to eventually replace your device if recovery does not happen.
Surveys
Generate surveys for the USD community that work on any device -- mobile to desktop -- allowing for either anonymous or individually tracked submissions with detailed reports. You can even include photos. Share your survey via email or social media or include it on your site.
Symantec Anti-Virus
Computer virus protection. USD has a comprehensive site license for Symantec AntiVirus protection software, for Windows and Macintosh. This site license covers both your office and your home computer for as long as you are a USD community member. Faculty, staff, and students are all covered.
Tape Storage
USD securely stores 4 weeks of data (tape backups) on site and one year of retention stored off campus within Commvault preservation facilities. Tape backups are limited to server data within USD data centers. USD has a telemarketing system in place that will help you keep contacts, activities, and outcomes organized, as well as generate a list of numbers to call, so callers don't call the same person.

U.Achieve
U.Achieve is a system employed by the University of San Diego for allocating and viewing academic standing to all students. By using U.Achieve, a student will be able to view a number of different pieces of information; most especially, they will be able to track their progress through their majors and minors and assess their overall academic standing.
Video Editing and Scanning
Allows users to edit their videos or transfer from VHS to DVD, scan documents or photos and convert them into PDF, JPG or word document files.
This service includes editing of still photographs, video footage, related graphics or archived media wrapped into one video or series of videos that deliver your message.
Video Production
Request video recording, editing, and publishing to meet certain television and web video publishing standards.
Virtual Machine (VM) Provisioning
Request support for and administration of a VMware virtual server running a supported Linux server operating system. Configuration changes will be handled as requested.

Web Conference Meeting
Web conferencing assistance is available for meetings between individuals, classrooms or outside the university. The ITS-recommended software platform is Zoom, as it allows for the recording of sessions, sharing of screens, and a user-friendly interface for both sides.

Wireless (eduroam)
eduroam is a fast-growing wireless service that was pioneered by the European research and education networking community and is now available in thousands of participating universities, research centers and libraries in more than 60 countries worldwide.
This will enable our students, researchers, faculty and staff to securely obtain wireless network access across campus and when visiting other participating organizations automatically. eduroam secures the status of our staff and students as part of the national and international educational and research communities.

WordPerfect
WordPerfect can be used to create documents, presentations, spreadsheets, reports and more with hundreds of free templates. Please note that WordPerfect is only compatible with Windows computers.
Zoom
Zoom is USD's web video conferencing platform. It provides remote conferencing services using cloud computing. Zoom offers communications software that combines video conferencing, online meetings, chat, and mobile collaboration.
