Zoom Web Conferencing

Zoom is a new Web Conferencing Tool available to faculty at USD. It is available for Mac OS, Windows, iOS, Andriod and Linux.  A free account allows you to have unlimited 1 to 1 meetings with a 40 minute limit on group meetings. A Pro Account allows for unlimited meeting duration for all meetings sizes.

  • An Internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)
  • Speakers and a microphone – built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth  
  • A webcam or HD webcam - built-in or USB plug-in
  • Or, a HD cam or HD camcorder with video capture card
