Allergy Management
During COVID-19 most Specialty Services will not be available. Please call for more information.
The Student Health Center will initiate an allergy management plan for a student if they meet the following criteria:
- Students who are already receiving regular allergy injections
- Students are getting injections no more frequently than 2 times weekly unless in maintenance phase.
- The student is at low risk for a serious adverse reaction. Typically, these are students who are receiving allergens for environmental allergies (pollens, weeds, dust mites, cats, dogs, etc) who experience upper respiratory symptoms. Students at risk for anaphylaxis cannot be managed by the Student Health Center.
If you think you qualify for allergy management, please contact the SHC to initiate a consultation with a medical provider to initiate documents and transfer your care.
