Everyone has been a buyer or a seller at some point in their lives. From shopping for consumer goods, organizing group activities, recruiting members to social or other organizations, fundraising for a favorite charity, or even deciding where to go to lunch, we all use the root skills of selling or are sold to on a daily basis. Join Professor Carlton O'Neal of the Marketing department for a lively lecture on the history, evolution, and current methods of the selling profession, including the power of the elevator speech, cultural issues that affect international methods of selling, and the best methods for presentation, negotiations, and closing a deal.

For ages 55 and up.
