Parking at the University
Visitor parking at USD is free to the public, simply stop in at either of the two main campus entrances, both located on Linda Vista Road. A kiosk is located at each entrance where an attendant can issue a visitor parking permit and direct you to a parking structure. Please note, although parking is free you will be ticketed if you do not check in with the attendant and receive a parking permit.
The closest entrance to the Robert and Karen Hoehn Family Galleries and the KIPJ Fine Art Galleries is the West Entrance, also known as Marian Way. This street leads straight up the hill, where visitors can find street parking on weekends close to Founders Hall and the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice. During days in which classes are in session, it is best to park in the West Parking Structure, and take the complimentary tram up the hill to its first stop. Signs are located prominently on the lawns in front of each structure naming the building.
If you are going to Serra Hall to visit the David W. May Gallery, please use the Main Entrance at the top of the hill. The closest parking is the Mission Parking Structure, or street parking on Torero Way.
