The current art exhibition in the Hoehn Family Galleries, Christ: Life, Death, and Resurrection, has extended its viewing days to include the weekend of Dec. 14-15 due to record-breaking attendance.

The exhibition, which features more than 40 original drawings and prints by Italian Renaissance artists — including Michelangelo, Fra Filippo Lippi, and others — is from the renowned collection of the British Museum.

The collection opened at USD's art gallery within Founders Hall on September 12 and has been open seven days a week ever since. The exhibit was scheduled to close on Dec. 13. It has been one of the most popular exhibits ever for University Galleries.

Admission to the Hoehn gallery is free and is open to the public. Hours on Dec. 13 are noon to 5 p.m. and weekend hours for both Saturday and Sunday are noon to 4 p.m. Be sure to stop by and view this rare collection not seen before in the United States.
