    Join us to hear Dr. Stephen Schueller discuss the place that digital apps hold in the mental health sphere and how they can be integrated into clinical work! This workshop will be held remotely via Zoom on April 15, 2021, 10am-12pm. Two CE credits will be made available to mental health professionals!

    Presenter: Stephen Scheuller, PhD, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist whose research focuses on digital mental health. He has authored and co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed journal articles related to mental health in the digital space, and is considered one of the foremost experts in digital mental health. Dr. Schueller is currently an Associate Professor in University of California Irvine's Department of Psychological Science as well as the Editor-in-Chief of Frontiers in Digital Health, Human Factors in Digital Health

    Learning Objectives:

    1. Identify evaluation criteria related to the adoption of mental health apps
    2. List different ways in which apps can be integrated into their clinical workflow
    3. Identify common barriers and facilitators to uptake of mental health apps
    4. Explain factors to assess when considering the adoption of mental heatlh apps
    5. Identify common features present in mental health apps

    CE Credits: 2 hours of CE credit are being offered to LMFTs, LPCCs, Psychologists, and LCSWs based on the total instruction time of 120 minutes within the duration of the event. Those who attend this workhop in full and complete the appropriate evaluation form will receive CE credits. Please note that credit will only be granted to those who attend the entire workshop. Those arriving more than 15 minutes after the start time or leaving before the workshop is completed will not recieve CE credit. Project TeamUP at the University of San Diego is approved by the California Psychological Association to provide continuing professional education for psychologists and other licensed mental health professionals. Project TeamUP at the University of San Diego maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

    Cost: There is no cost associated wtih attending this event.
