We believe every day is Earth Day! This year, earth day is celebrated on April 22, 2021. The SOLES Sustainability Committee would like to celebrate with an opportunity to educate ourselves and others on sustainability. We want to test your G.Q. (green quotient) with these two opportunities. Contestants are eligible to win sustainability-friendly gifts and cash prizes!

    Earn a sustainability certificate!

USD's Office of Sustainability has developed a learning module to educate  Toreros on the foundations of sustainability, some of USD's sustainability initiatives, and what they can do to lower their ecological footprint.  This module should take about 30 minutes to complete and provides the opportunity for a certificate of completion.

To access the module, login to Blackboard at ole.sandiego.edu, with your USD one credentials, click on "Organizations", and then click on "Office of Sustainability". Once you reach the Office of Sustainability page, click "start here" in the upper left corner to begin the module.

The first 20 SOLES community members to email a copy of their certificate to solessustain@sandiego.edu will receive a sustainability friendly gift! Deadline to submit certificates is April 9, 2021, 11:59 p.m

We also encourage you to post pictures of your certificates. Be sure to tag @usdsoles and @usdsustain !
