Decolonizing Pedagogies and Practices (Part II)
In this session, we will feature three of our faculty, Drs. James Fabionar, Catherine Griffith, and Nydia Sanchez that are steeped in the work of decolonizing pedagogies and practices. Dr. Antonio Jimenez Luque and Dr. Sarina Chugani Molina will also consider cultural artifacts (values & norms; myths & sagas; language systems & metaphors; rituals, ceremonies, & symbols; interior and exterior tangible & intangible spaces from decolonizing and indigenous perspectives) in SOLES and ways in which we can work towards making SOLES a more welcoming and inclusive environment for all of our students.
