A Democracy for All of U.S. ' Pulling Together: Democracy and Solving Big Problems

Date and Time

  • Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

5998 Alcala Park San Diego, CA 92110

Join us for the third and final part of the three-part series, "A Democracy for All of U.S," which invites us to confront the challenges to our democracy and explore potential solutions that will enable us to develop an inclusive democracy for all.

Building on what we learned about how to strengthen our nation and the San Diego region in our first two conversations, "Pulling Together: Democracy and Solving Big Proglems" will explore what we need to do to ensure our democracy can confront our immediate crises, but also solve bigger problems as well – from global conflict, to compounding inequality, to climate change. How do we pull together to confront these massive challenges?

We will be joined by a new panel of experts (below) who will speak from firsthand knowledge and deep experience about how we create a more effective democracy for our families, our neighbors, and our communities. Then it will be our turn to ask questions and to go deeper into conversation with the panelists and fellow attendees.

NOTE: If you registered for the "A Democracy for All of U.S." event on January 28 or February 25, then you are already registered for this event as well and do not need to register again.

This event is open to the public
